Rare Country Store Antique Brighton Silk Garter Wooden Display Cabinet

If there is a better antique country store garter cabinet around, I sure have not seen it. This cute little display case is executed in quartersawn oak and has the original stenciling-----BRIGHTON GARTER 25cents.

Both sides are stenciled THE BRIGHTON SILK GARTER 25 cents. The back gains access to the 8 drawers which originally contained garters. The front of each drawer is divided to show the merchandise on the front behind the glass. Naturally, you could use the cabinet for display of any number of things. A high quality case with paneled sides and beading around the top. The back of the case retains an original paper label which is difficult to read.
