Battlefleet Gothic BFG Chaos Cruiser 3-UP Metal Store Promo Display VERY RARE

Quick history on this rare promo miniature. This solid white metal model is a master "3-up" sculpt (exactly three times the size of the standard production miniature) created by Games Workshop in 1999. To promote the launch of the Battlefleet Gothic tabletop game, a strictly limited run of these oversized models was cast. Instead, they were distributed exclusively to official Games Workshop stores and select independent retailers to serve as promotional display pieces. A painted version of this 3-up sculpt was rumored to be used for official photography and is featured on page 51 of the original Battlefleet Gothic rulebook.

Because it was strictly a promotional store item and never entered commercial production, surviving copies are exceptionally rare and highly sought after by collectors today. From what we can tell, this kit is almost complete, but it is missing some components that are not included in this sale. Painted dreadnought and metal ruler is only shown for scale, and isn't included in this sale.
