Antique Advertising Bonzo the Crosley Pup Paper Mache Dog Radio mascot 1920'S. In 1925, the Crosley Radio Co. Adopted the cartoon character Bonzo as their advertising mascot for its new, smaller radio receiver. Here is Bonzo lounging, wearing headphones enjoying his favorite tunes with a blissful grin of pure delight stretching his eyes with it in his own realm of sounds that only a headphone music lover knows the feeling. Bonzo is Made of papier-mache by the Ole King Cole Co.
Band from the headphones is missing. There is damage to both ears and a little to the back paws.
It does show age but holds up fairly well. A great addition to any collection.
