Uncommon Box, slight damage but very unique. Three of four edges have taping. No advertising on bottom of box.

The Baby Ruth candy bar was introduced in 1920 by the Curtiss. Candy Company, founded by Otto Schnering. It was named after Ruth Cleveland, daughter of President Grover Cleveland, though the company maintained it was named after Babe Ruth, the famous baseball player, to avoid potential legal issues.

The candy bar quickly became a popular American confection, known for its combination of peanuts, caramel, and nougat. This display box, advertising the candy bar for "5ยข, " reflects the pricing common during the mid-20th century. Vintage candy advertising, especially for iconic brands like Baby Ruth, is highly sought after by collectors. These boxes served as point-of-sale displays, designed to attract customers and promote impulse. Box has minor damage on top left corner as shown in pictures.
