The sedan chair moves back and forth and the mother and baby kangaroos turn their heads back and forth. The men are linked to the handles and sway back and forth as the coach moves. Everything is functional but it could use some lube and cleaning. It is powered by two standard 110 volt plugs.
There are portions of lace coming off, the men are missing fingers, there is torn fabric particularly on the one man's shoe and the paneling on the side of the sedan chair, and the plaster or papier mache that the figures are made out of does have cracks in places. There is a rhinestone necklace that looks like it went on the mother kangaroo that is broken. Unfortunately, I do not know the history of this piece, but it is certainly one-of-a-kind and would be the centerpiece of any doll or automaton collection.
