All Original - with Green Tag. Plus Bonus 9" Little Frog "Buddy - also c. This is one of Annalee's largest-size artist dolls, which was likely made as a store display. Incidentally, he also happens to be the mascot for Willimantic, Connecticut, though he was probably not produced for that purpose. They do not come up for sale often. The length depends on how you measure him. I'm measuring 52 from the bend in his foot to the top of his head. But (as shown in the photo), if you measure instead from where the foot connects to the leg, it's 45.

Or, if you measure from head to toe, it's 62! This artist doll is on a sturdy wire armature, so he can be repositioned any way you wish, to add pizzazz to your display! He has his original GREEN paper tag with black lettering, which places him in the mid-to-late'70s. The tag has faded almost to tan/beige, but you can see on close examination that it was originally green -- not one of the later beige tags that had blue lettering.

He does not have a seam tag. Many of the earlier Annalee dolls did not. As for his 9 buddy, he has a Tyvek tag that clearly dates him to the same period -- c. NOTE: Photo props not included: the UKULELE, the DRUM SEAT... And definitely NOT the Pepsi! Beautiful vintage condition, from a non-smoking environment. NO bad smells, NO water damage, NO mildew. The big guy has a few small spots of professional re-felting, particularly on the feet, due to small moth holes (as usually happens with these).

See final photo for an example. These repairs are noticeable for the most part on close examination. Some age toning or soiling on the back of his white "hat, " as pictured. I'LL BE GLAD TO ANSWER. Provided it's rated the same (or faster) than the service you chose.
