Rare Nintendo STORE DISPLAY RED TV CRT KB Toy Kiosk Sign Shelf Demo Cabinet N64

F or your viewing pleasure we have a very special Nintendo store display 9 CRT console television. Even rarer than those Sharp TV units, this was used in a KB Toy Store Nintendo 64 display cabinet. The display cabinet is however not included in this offer. These TVs are often missing from the display cabinet when found, because they were separated many years ago. That is what happened here with this TV.

The cabinet was unfortunately being destroyed in the early 2000s, but the TV was kept by a kindly family member. It was originally used to display proprietary video discs, none included.

This one is a bit special though. It was modified many years back by that same family member to use just the A/V inputs so the kids could play games. The disc player and front buttons no longer do anything.

They have been disabled and bypassed so that you can actually play game consoles with the TV through the composite inputs on the back. It is in good working condition. Volume, color, bright, and tint all work on the side. The provided power supply is the only way to power it up. Plug it in and the TV is always on unless you unplug it.

You can use your own power strip to act as a switch. Though it has the power jack, a traditional PS2/XB style power cord does not work. Vibrations kill stuff like this, even if the object is well packed, requiring possible repairs. That is a fact, and I cannot sugar coat the risk. Comes from a smoke free but kid and pet friendly home.

The black and white photo is an example, credit to Art G for that photo that has been artistically altered to demonstrate where the TV is supposed to be on the display case. What you see is the actual item you get. Sorry, no N64 console, game, or accessories beside the power cord included. The game play is shown only to demonstrate the working nature of the TV set. Check the options an make a selection.
