From 1947 and Ultra Rare. Among the nicest, most sought after and rarest of Superman displays. This store display is Very rare with only a few known examples. But for the purest, I kept this in it's completely original unrestored condition. From the Franco Toscanini Collection.
This large and fully original die-cut cardboard standee with easel back features wonderful illustration of Superman standing with three children, a box and bowl of Kellogg's Pep cereal in foreground. Text at top reads Boy! It's Super and boy in middle whistles for his friends to come meet Superman. This boy also wears a beanie that has an indistinct yet identifiable Superman pin on it.The other boy at right also wears a beanie with pins, but these are indistinct. Condition : Standee surface paper does have some issues, w/edge wear at center and some small punctures/holes running vertically at center and scattered surface rubs.
Scattered edge wear w/obvious corner tip wear at bottom corners. Scattered streaks of moisture staining at bottom, more visible on reverse. Overall, VG and still nice for display, but it would benefit from professional restoration.Canada and Worldwide: Please check for rates.
