This company was started in Germany in 1957. Very attractive graphic of a handsome, soapy man showering.
Cardboard cutout images of the two products are secured to the lower right corner of the display, giving it a three-dimensional look. Glossy print is attached to a heavy cardstock board with a hinged flap that enables the sign to be displayed upright. There is an artist signature, F. Baudrexel, in the lower left area of the display.Overall condition is very good with corner bumps (lower left corner is the worst one), browning along the edges, spotting/foxing throughout, and some paper edge chips (mainly on the lower right edge). The paper layer on the reverse side has delaminated in the lower left area; perhaps due to moisture exposure. Measures 16-1/2 inches wide and 23-1/4 inches in height and 1/8th of an inch thick. Display was originally used in a long-closed local drug store and was recently found in the estate of the pharmacy owner. Would look very impressive if professionally matted and framed.
